How Do I Order?

The easiest way to order is via this website. Please select the colour of your dress, and size, then 'Add to bag'.

Alternatively, please send details of your order by post to: 157 Heene Road, Worthing, BN11 4NY. Sorry, we can't take orders over the phone at this time.

Which Size Should I Order?
It is really important that you know your bust, waist, hips and length measurement before ordering. You can then refer to the size chart on each page.

If your not a standard size, then the dress will not fit. There is no 'give' in our dresses. The best option would be to chose our Closer Fit service.

How Long Will My Order Take?

If your dress or accessory is in stock we will dispatch it within 24 hours.

The majority of dresses take 6-7 weeks to make, LouLou and Angel Bride dresses can take up to 14 weeks. Sashes take 6 weeks. Please allow 1 week for delivery ontop.

Please e-mail us with the name of the dress or accessory you're interested in and we will get back to you ASAP with a delivery time.

How Much Is Postage?

Our standard delivery charge is just £5.95 per package. It actually costs us £10 to send a dress, but we feel that £5.95 is less scary for our customers! This is a 5-7 days delivery service for UK mainland customers, providing the item is in stock.

Delivery to Irelands and Highlands is £15.95. Delivery to Europe is £15.95. USA, Canada, Middle East: £39.00 (1 dress). Rest of World: £49.00 (1 dress).

Collection in person from Worthing, West Sussex is free, please e-mail or call (01903 531145) to arrange.

Delivery Address: Please check that you've provided us with the correct address.

Can I Return My Item?

UK Returns:
You have 7 working days after receipt of their order to cancel and receive a full refund. Orders may not be cancelled after this period except for under your legal rights. There's no exception to this and any dresses cancelled after 7 working days, and returned, will be sent back to you and you will be invoiced for postage costs. Sale items can also be returned - but postage is not refunded.

Outbound shipping costs (£5.95) will be refunded and we don't charge a re-stocking fee.

IMPORTANT: Any additional postage costs for areas outside of England, or any additional costs for special delivery, etc, will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for return postage costs.

Which items & dresses CANNOT be returned:
'Closer Fit' dresses or a dress which is not made fully to our standard size chart. Altered dresses. Bespoke dresses. Dresses in sizes 0-4, or 20+, dresses ordered in a non returnable colour, sashes & garters made to your specific dimensions (outside of the dimension we offer on this website) cannot be returned. Jewellery or hair accessories that have been customised with your initials for example are also non-returnable.

Items should be returned in same condition you receive them, and MUST be returned via a trackable, appropriately insured service. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 30 days. Typically, 5 days after receiving the item back.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Delivery to Irelands and Highlands is £15.95. Delivery to Europe is £15.95. USA, Canada, Middle East: £39.00 (1 dress). Rest of World: £49.00 (1 dress). Please contact us for a quotation for more than 1 dress.

Please note; you will be responsible to pay for any taxes or custom duties when your item arrives.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept Visa/Mastercard/Switch via PayPal when ordering via our website. You do not have to be registered with PayPal to pay. If you do have a PayPal account, simply enter your username and password when checking out. You can also pay in cheque via post. Please make cheques payable to 'Courtesan Boutique'.
Is My Payment Secure?
To ensure security of your financial information, our customers pay us via PayPal - however, you can use any card to pay. Please see their website for more information.
Can I Try Before I Buy?

Dresses can be loaned for 3 days Monday-Thursday only. Please see here: Try Before You Buy.

Are Swatches Available?

Please click here for details. £5.95 is the standard postage charge on this website. We therefore offer 1-3 swatches for the £5.95 postage.

We are currently adding more swatches, so please contact us if you don't see the sample that you need.

Some swatches can take up to 6 weeks to arrive.

They are sent by regular post.

Can Dresses Be Hired?
Sorry, we are no longer offering a hire service.
Are Your Dresses Good Quality?
We spent years sourcing beautifully made dresses. Dresses that are fully lined, have invisible hems, feature boning in the tops, have built in cups so there's no need to wear a bra, are made from good quality fabrics such as a heavy satin, silk, beautifully made lace, soft tulles, nettings, sparkly organza and flowing chiffon.

Most of our dresses involve a lot of hand sewing, and if you took them apart you'd find tailors chalk marks, areas that are double lined, breast cups, and interfacing.

Our satin dresses are thick, so they won't reveal every lump and bump. Even our chiffon dresses contain invisible breast cups for support and shape. Most of our dresses look like there's a body in them even when they're on the hanger!

The structure of our dresses is what separates us from high street shops. We also have an incredibly low rate of returns. In fact, returns are a rarity.

 

 

 

Do You Have More Pictures?
We're in the process of adding pictures to the gallery. In the meantime, if you need to see a dress in a different colour, or need further pictures, please e-mail enquiries@cboutique.com.
Which Size Should I Order?
Sizes vary per dress. Each dress page contains a size chart. Please also see our 'Measuring Guide'. If you need a larger or smaller size than you see listed, please e-mail us, we may be able to arrange this. Dresses can be made in US sizes if required - although non returnable. Our size chart is an accurate UK size chart. However, there is no 'give' in our dresses, they are thick and boned.

Do You Offer Made To Measure
Please click here for details on 'Closer Fit' dresses. Please note, Lou Lou and Angle Bride dresses can only be ordered in standard sizes.
Can I Change The Length?
Yes, simply select the desired length when you order the dress . Please note, Lou Lou and Angle Bride dresses cannot be altered.
Can I Change The Style?
Many of our dresses can be made long or visa versa, can have straps added, a corsage changed for a bow, a bow changed for a sash etc. You can also mix and match the top of one dress with the bottom of another. Most variations are free of charge, although dresses can't be returned that have been changed from the original style in any way.
Do You Offer An Alterations Service?
Courtesan Boutique do not offer an alteration service.
Do You Offer Any Discounts?

We believe our dresses are very competitively priced. Other companies often offer a dress in standard sizes and only a few colour options, so benefit from bulk discounts, but offer the customer little choice.

Most of our dresses are available in any colour, size, and can be Closer Fit, so we don't buy in bulk and receive a bulk discount from our suppliers.

We also buy many of our dresses from America, which incur a import duty, tax, and shipping costs. With all this in mind, unfortunately we don't offer discounts for buying more than 1 dress.
